Extensions
A classic .com. A creative .xyz. A shop of your own. There’s a space for whatever you’re building.
Search a nameNo teaser rate that disappears at renewal. Each name shows the first-year price and what it renews at.
Prices are per year. Renewal prices are listed beside each extension, and any ICANN fee is shown in your search results and cart before you pay. Pricing excludes applicable taxes and ICANN fees.
The real bill
Registrars quote the first year because it is the cheapest number to advertise. This is the full five-year bill — renewal, registry fee, total — with no teaser rate waiting at checkout.
Year one is $14.99. Year two is $18.99, and so are years three, four and five. The ICANN fee is 20 cents a year. That is the whole story.
No teaser rate. No “renews at” surprise buried in a checkout step. The numbers below are the numbers on this page.
| .com registration — year 1 | $14.99 |
|---|---|
| ICANN fee — year 1 | $0.20 |
| Renewal — years 2–54 × $18.99 | $75.96 |
| ICANN fee — years 2–54 × $0.20 | $0.80 |
| Total, 5 years | $91.95 |
The first-year price is the number registrars advertise. The renewal is the one they leave off the page. Both are above, and neither is a promotion that later expires.
Domain protection
Registering the name is the easy part. The registration record is what can be changed, unlocked, transferred or allowed to expire — usually without anyone noticing until the site or email stops working.

Rebuilding a site costs a weekend. Recovering a domain costs weeks, legal proof and sometimes the name itself. Protection is priced per domain, per year, and it applies to names you already own.
Works without hosting. Separate from privacy — privacy hides your details; protection guards the record. Not every extension qualifies, and the cart shows what applies before you pay.
