Legal
Privacy, without the eighty pages.
How this website handles your data, what happens when you buy something, and how to get your information deleted. Plainly stated.
Good to Know:
This page is a plain-language summary, not the contract itself. The authoritative terms are the Universal Terms of Service and the other agreements linked below. Where this summary and those agreements differ, the agreements govern. Nothing here is legal advice. The short version
- This website runs no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics by default.
- We collect the minimum needed to sell you a product and support it afterwards.
- We do not sell your data. Ever.
- You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it.
What this website collects
Browsing this site does not create an account or a profile. Like essentially every web server, ours records standard access logs — the page requested, the time, and the IP address the request came from — for security and troubleshooting. Those logs are not used to build advertising profiles.
If you contact us by phone or email, we keep the details you give us so we can answer the question and refer back to it later.
When you run a WHOIS or IP lookup on this site, your browser asks public services for the record: the registry's own RDAP endpoint, IANA's bootstrap files, and — for the "where it points" rows — a public DNS-over-HTTPS resolver (Cloudflare). These are plain data requests. They set no cookies, and we do not profile or store what you look up.
Cookies
This site itself does not set advertising cookies. When you move into the checkout, sign-in and account areas, those services set the cookies they need to keep you logged in, remember your cart, retain your currency and region, and detect fraud. Those cookies are required for the transaction to work and cannot be switched off while you are using those areas.
Because we run no advertising or analytics scripts on this site, there is no consent banner to dismiss.
When you buy something
- Your order details — name, contact information, domain names and products — are stored against your account so you can manage and renew them.
- Payment is handled by the payment processor. We do not store your full card details on our systems.
- Domain registration data is shared with the relevant registry, as required by ICANN and registry policy. Domain privacy or protected registration is a separate product; if you have it, your personal details are shielded from the public WHOIS record.
- Your information is shared with the infrastructure provider operating the product you bought, to the extent needed to deliver it.
Who we share data with
Only with the parties required to deliver and support what you bought: the infrastructure provider operating the service, the payment processor, the relevant domain registry, and any authority we are legally obliged to respond to. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and for the period required afterwards for tax, accounting and dispute purposes. Server logs rotate on a short cycle. Domain registration records are retained for the life of the registration, because the registry requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, or object to certain processing. To make a request, use the contact details below. We will confirm your identity before acting, and we will tell you if part of a request cannot be met and why.
Some data cannot be deleted on request while a domain or service is active — registries require current registration data for as long as the registration exists.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, account areas require authentication, and access to customer records is limited to what is needed to provide support. No system is perfect, and we will notify affected customers promptly if a breach ever affects their data.
