How much does a .com cost?
$14.99 the first year, then $18.99 a year at renewal. Plus an ICANN fee of $0.18 (USD) per domain per year. Both the price and the current renewal price are shown on the product page and in the cart before you pay, so there are never any surprises.
Can I hide my details from the public WHOIS record?
Domain privacy and protected registration are separate products, not something bundled with a registration. Availability and price vary by extension, so ask us about the specific domain you want and we will tell you exactly what is possible.
Can I register a domain without buying hosting?
Absolutely. Park the name for as long as you like and point it anywhere later. There is no penalty for taking your time.
How do I transfer a domain to you?
Get the authorization code from your current registrar, make sure the domain is unlocked, then start the transfer from our transfer page. Your remaining registration term comes with it.

Which hosting should I choose?
cPanel if you want the familiar control panel, WordPress hosting if you are running WordPress, Business hosting if a shared plan struggles under traffic, and a VPS if you need root access and full control.
Can you move my existing website over?
Yes. Send us a backup and we will get it running on the new hosting before you repoint the domain. Our WordPress plans also include a one-click migration tool.
Does hosting include a domain?
No. Domain registration is a separate product, so you buy the domain and the hosting independently. That works in your favour — both are registered in your own account, and you can move either one without touching the other. A .com is $14.99 a year.
Is there a contract or a long commitment?
Plans are billed monthly or annually and you can cancel whenever you like. Auto-renew can be switched off per product in your account at any time.

Do I really need SSL?
Yes. Browsers label unencrypted pages as 'Not secure', search engines rank them lower, and visitors leave. It is no longer optional for any site.
What is the difference between email and email marketing?
Professional Email is for one-to-one correspondence on your own domain. Email marketing is for sending to a list, with templates, tracking and unsubscribe handling built in.
My site was hacked. What do I do?
Call us. We will get a scan running and clean the site, then help you close the route they used so it does not happen again. If you have backups, we restore a clean copy first.
How long does SEO take to work?
Three to six months for meaningful movement. SEO compounds rather than switching on, and anyone promising page one in a fortnight is not being straight with you.
